Materials

• Acetone
• File
• Aluminum foil
• Cotton pads or balls
• Cuticle oil or cream

Steps

1. Filing: Start by filing the top layer of nail polish powder. This breaks the seal and makes the removal process easier.
2. Acetone: Soak a cotton pad or ball in acetone.
3. Wrap your nails: Place the soaked cotton pad on your nail and wrap your fingertip in aluminum foil to hold it in place.
4. Wait: Leave it on for about 10 to 20 minutes.
5. Remove: Remove the foil and cotton pad from your nails and wipe away the softened powder. Repeat if necessary.

Is Acetone harmful to my nails?

Steps:

1. Mix: Make a mixture of equal parts baking soda and toothpaste.
2. Application: Apply the mixture to your nails.
