Powder nail polish

Powder nail polish, also known as dip powder nails, is an innovative manicure technique that provides a durable and glossy finish. This method, which involves applying a clear adhesive base to the nail and then dipping it in fine powder, creates a manicure that will last several weeks.

How does powder nail polish work?

Nail polish powder, or dip powder, is an innovative method in the nail care industry known for its durability and ability to remain scratch-resistant. This technique differs from traditional nail polish and gel in the method of application and chemical composition. Dip powder nails can last between two to four weeks, which is longer than the average gel manicure.

Applying the nail polish

The dip powder process starts with a base coat, after which the nail is immersed in the colored powder. An activator is then applied that hardens the powder. This process is repeated for the desired color intensity and thickness. An important advantage of dip powder is that it does not require UV light to harden, unlike gel manicures. This ensures that you can easily apply powder nail polish at home.

Gel nail polish offers flexibility and a more natural feel, which is ideal for healthy natural nails. Powder nail polish is harder and provides more strength for weak or damaged nails. In addition, it is more scratch resistant than gel. Many people today therefore opt for nail polish in powder form.
