The Glowdip Home Manicure Set was our favorite. You don't need a UV lamp that can damage your skin , which is nice. The nails dry quickly, so it's convenient for people in a hurry.
The beautiful packaging immediately caught our attention. It was very easy to use, even for beginners. It was also easy to remove , which made the whole process enjoyable.
The best part was that the manicure stayed beautiful for a long time. Our nails looked great for over 4 weeks without chipping . That's rare for at-home manicure sets. We obviously had to include Manucurist's popular gel lacquer method in this review. We were pleasantly surprised when we could unpack the package, because it all looks very nice.
The lacquer was fairly easy to apply and for a gel lacquer manicure, we also found it to dry fairly quickly with the lamp.
Still, we could name quite a few downsides, something we hadn't actually considered. First of all, we found that the Manucurist set has become extremely expensive, this was a lot cheaper in the past. Despite the many nice colors available, we only received 2 colors with the set.
The first cracks already started coming after barely 1.5 weeks after application (Note: Preparing your nails properly can have an effect on the longevity of a manicure).

If you are new to the world of gel nails, Sally Hansen is a good choice. Their introductory kit is easy to use with just three steps and dries quickly in 30 seconds.
After drying, our nails had a strong, smooth finish with no sticky residue. The nail polish and topcoat provide a nice, glossy look, although sometimes a bubble can appear. The polish stays on for about two weeks, but after intensive cleaning, the nails may be slightly damaged.
Note that the kit contains only one color, but you can purchase additional colors separately. While the kit may not be ideal for people with a lot of manual work, it is a good start for those who want to try their own gel nails at home.

Little budget? Then try the SensatioNail Starter Kit. The instructions can be confusing, so take the time to understand them well before you start.
While it's not the easiest kit, we think it will get better after a few uses.
With the included lamp, your nails will dry quickly, making for a beautiful manicure. (Tip: apply thin coats and be patient for best results).
Although the brand says the polish will stay on for two weeks, we noticed it started to peel off after just one week. It may not be as good as professional polish, but it certainly lasts longer than regular nail polish.
